In terms of job security at Muckleshoot Casino, I think it’s hard to get fired. Meanwhile the tribal council was still making sure the tribal members got their percaps (higher than last year, like every year). When the casino shut down from COVID, all employee raises and bonuses were halted for the foreseeable future. Pay? I mean it’s not enough for some departments, but too much for other departments. The real struggle comes when the hiring process takes so long that too many people give up and each department is always short handed. And of course there’s exception of the team members that just do the bare minimum. People work very hard to meet their goals and to fill the reason of being there and getting paid. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Like any job can be very stressful at times, mainly due to extremely poor communication and planning by upper management. Overall a great group of people across the board. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Essentially, you will be milked for your experience and knowledge. In my experience It seemed the more you know, and more experience you have you will most likely you will be overworked as the overall experience level in certain departments lacks severely. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The Muckleshoot tribe is extremely generous and thoughtful towards the Muckleshoot Casino team members.
